Fall Tuber Pre-Sale: What’s this?
This is our main tuber sale for the 2025 shipping season. Tubers bought during this sale will be shipped in Spring 2025. Our rooted cutting sale will begin on January 10, 2025
How the Sale Works:
1. Varieties will say “Coming Soon or Sold Out” until the sale begins on Dec 6, 2024/Jan 10, 2025. The varieties will be available for previewing in the week before the sale. There is an early shopping password if you are a subscriber to our Dahlia Lovers Newsletter. You can become one here- it’s free!
2. If you want several of the more popular varieties, I would suggest putting them in your cart and checking out quickly. Unfortunately, just because a variety is in your cart does not mean you have it. If several other people check out before you do, then it will show up as sold out when you go to check out. So it’s not yours, until you have completed the check out process.
3. For Local Pick Up, we will combine all orders placed between the Pre-Sale on Dec 6, 2024 and April 13, 2025. Local Pick Up will be on April 19, 2025.
For shipping, we will combine multiple orders placed during the sale. Please use the code “COMBINE” on each additional order after your first to remove the additional shipping. We will not refund additional shipping charges so make sure you use the code during check out.
We ship to the United States (except Hawaii and Alaska). We cannot ship rooted cuttings to Arizona. We do not ship outside the US.
*If you ordered during the Fall Tuber Sale and want to place a rooted cutting order, please use the “COMBINE” code- you don’t need to pay shipping twice.
3. When ordering rooted cuttings, you need to choose which zone when placing them in your cart. Choose Zone 2 for Local Pick up.
During the check out process, please select “Farm Pick up” or your shipping zone. The Ship zone you select during check out and the zone you select from each variety in your cart, must match. If they do not, we will send your tubers to the zone you select during check out.
Ship Zones are as follows:
- Zone 1: Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi
- Zone 2: Local Pick Up, Texas, Arkansas, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Oklahoma, New Mexico and any state from Zone 1
- Zone 3: Any state except Hawaii and Alaska. We can only ship tubers to Arizona.
*You may buy from a later shipping zone even if you are located in zone 1 if you would rather have your rooted cuttings later. Our system will auto-select your zone by your address so if you want a different later zone, you have to manually select it.
**Shipping begins early-March through late-April. No earlier shipping available. Early March shipping will be for warm states only. Tubers/Cuttings are not available before these dates.
4. The Dahlia shop page will disappear a few hours before each sale for us to update inventory. Please make your wish list early!
Terms and Conditions:
1. We grow all the varieties we sell here on our farm in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. We do not resell any imported tuber clumps. You will receive a single tuber with at least one viable eye or a rooted cutting.
We actively scout for virus during the growing season and cull accordingly. We take appropriate measures of tool sanitization. We have an extensive fertilization and pest control program that we employ all season long to produce healthy plants that make great quality tubers or healthy supply stock for our rooted cuttings.
2. We distribute each tuber with at least one live eye, often they have more. Each rooted cutting leaves our facility in a healthy state. If you have an issue with your tubers or rooted cuttings, please contact us immediately. You have 5 days from receipt of your order to make a claim. Please open your package immediately. If you suspect a problem, please email us with pictures included. We want you to be happy with your purchase so please give us an opportunity to make it right if something goes wrong in shipping.
We are a small farm and our quantities are limited. We will do our best to replace but if that is not possible, we will refund. After this 5 day time period, no refunds or replacements will be made.
As there are many factors that may affect how your tuber or rooted cutting grows, no responsibility by Fraylick Farm LLC. will be taken after 5 days has passed from receipt of your tuber.
3. The only exception: If you realized you received the wrong variety later in the season, please send us a picture. We will do our best to identify it for you. If you desire a refund at this date, we will accommodate until September 31, 2025. No claims after this date. We will not replace with the corrected variety the next season. Refunds only for incorrect varieties from 5 days after you receive the tuber until September 31, 2025.
4. If a variety does not make it through storage or fails to root, we will refund during the shipping process. We do not substitute.
5. After receiving your tubers and/or rooted cuttings, you are responsible for monitoring their condition until planting time. Please open your box immediately upon receipt.
6. All Sales Final. We do not cancel/refund orders after they are placed. Your credit card/payment method will be charged immediately following your order.
